When AI Goes Too Far: Ethics, Risk, and Oversight in RE Marketing with John Gillam (4CE)

Thursday, April 9, 2026 (12:30 PM - 4:30 PM) (MDT)

Description

This course examines the ethical, legal, and professional risks associated with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in real estate marketing, communications, and consumer interactions. Brokers will gain a deeper understanding of how AI-generated content—when used without verification, sourcing, and professional oversight—can result in misrepresentation, Fair Housing and ADA violations, antitrust concerns, and violations of the National Association of REALTORS Code of Ethics, including Articles 1, 2, 3, 10, 12, 15, and 16.

The course includes multiple anonymized case studies, expanded ethics analysis, and practical tools to ensure AI is used responsibly, compliantly, and within the broker’s scope of practice.

*Approved for NAR Ethics requirement
