Valerie is a native of San Diego, CA. She moved to Montrose, CO in 1994 because of her appreciation and desire to live in a small town. Colorado has drawn transplants from all over the world, and it's easy to understand why people find Western Colorado one of the best places to live. She is a strong supporter of family & community and has proudly served the Western Slope and Montrose in many ways. She is humbled and passionate about giving back to the community that she lives and works in. She has served on local boards, volunteered many hours and is a financial supporter of many great causes within the community. Near to her heart are Homes for our Troops, and Hope West Hospice. 

Valerie is the wife of a gifted artist, and the mother two boys; one is an active duty Army solider and the other in high school.
